Airs Roster Update

As we approach the final stretch of the Sal’s NBL season, we wanted to take a moment to share an important update regarding our roster. Every season brings change, and this year is no exception.

While Owen Foxwell was contracted for the full season, we fully embraced his opportunity to attend the Adidas EuroCamp—an event designed to showcase rising basketball talent. It was an experience that we believed would further sharpen his skills before returning for our playoff run. However, we have now been informed that Owen is actively pursuing overseas opportunities that coincide with our post-season.

Owen has been a key part of our journey this season, and we wish him all the best as he takes this next step in his career.

At the Taranaki Airs, we pride ourselves on being a launchpad for ambitious athletes but our focus remains firm: competing at the highest level and pushing for a strong finish to our season.

With that in mind, we’ve made a decisive move to ensure our campaign remains uncompromised—the addition of Deng Dut to the lineup.

Deng is a player we know well—one who brings tenacity, energy, and a competitive edge to the court. His ability to impact both ends of the floor will be vital as we gear up for the final battles of the season. We’re excited to welcome Deng into the whānau, and we have no doubt that his presence will strengthen our push toward playoff success.

To our loyal fans, thank you for your continued support and belief in what we’re building. This season is far from over, and with determination, grit, and unity, we are ready to finish strong—together.
