Thank You, Harry

As the 2025 Sal’s NBL season rolls on, we take a moment to acknowledge the contribution of Harry Froling, whose short-term contract with the Taranaki Steelformers Airs has now come to a close.

When Harry joined us earlier this season, we knew we were bringing in not just a talented big man, but someone determined to reignite his basketball journey. Returning from injury and looking to rebuild toward a full-time return to the Australian NBL, Harry stepped into our whānau with heart, hustle, and a genuine love for the game.

His presence in the locker room and on the hardwood gave us a lift during a pivotal stretch of the season. And while his time in a Taranaki jersey was brief, we’re incredibly proud to have played a part in his story — offering an opportunity, a platform, and a community that believes in second chances and big comebacks.

To Harry: thank you for your contribution. Thank you for trusting the Airs with a chapter in your journey. We know you’re destined to rise again, and we’ll be cheering you on from Aotearoa as you chase that NBL return.
